Easy 3-Digit Code Puzzle — Crack the Code for Beginners

This article is in English. You can still switch site language from the menu.

An easy 3-digit code puzzle is the perfect place to learn deduction: fewer positions than 4- or 6-digit modes, but still enough depth to teach “well placed” vs “right digit, wrong place.”

In Crack the Password, early levels use three unique digits (0–9, no repeats). You read the hints, test a guess, and update what you know about each position.

How do I play an easy 3-digit code puzzle?

You guess a three-digit code. After each guess, hints say how many digits are correct and whether they are in the right position. Use that feedback to refine the next guess until the code is solved.

Why start with three digits?

Three positions keep the puzzle approachable while still teaching core logic. The same rules scale to longer codes as you progress.

Can kids play?

Yes. Easy 3-digit rounds are great for older kids and teens who enjoy number logic; younger players may want help reading the hints at first.

Where is the full strategy guide?
